Red Pill and Blue Pill

Red Pill and Blue Pill

I appreciate the symbolism in this picture. I see it clearly in the Society we live in.

We can pick the Truth (the Red Pill) although it is ugly and we have to live and deal with the Truth/ Truths or we stick to rainbows/ unicorns and rose tinted stories (Blue Pill) we were brought up to believe in that was given to us by Society when we were psychologically programmed since childhood. There are things as they are whether in life/ dating/ corporate work environment/ war and there are things we ‘ought to’ or ‘should’ happen because it is the ‘right’ or ‘moral’ way.

How many days left to live

I read on a blog somewhere many years ago on how many days a person can live: 365 days in a year, a 20 year old expected to live around until 65 years will have remaining years to live of 65-20= 45 years so 45 years = 45 x 365 = 16,425 days left to live.

Now, 3 years = 3 x 365 = 1095 days. In 3 years, 1095 days are removed from your remaining time to live so that makes you think a lot about if I go to this event or do this or that, am I wasting my time/ am I moving towards my life goal(s) with the limited time I have/ am I drifting aimlessly/ do I hang out with the right type of people/ do I have to argue with a person/ do I have to endure a difficult situation etc.

One’s Beliefs in relation to the World

I am regularly having my internal Belief system/ paradigms broken and reformed when dealing with Reality. It’s the way of the World.

Everything we were taught to believe in from parents, Society, school, Teachers etc doesn’t seem to match Reality whether it is the life we are in, the Society we live in or the workplace.

We were told by Society that you get good school grades, go to University/ College and get a good job; I believed in all that but that Belief system was destroyed upon graduation after the Recession (which started in the year 2007).

Talking to people who were not inclined academically yet were still successful, I learned another facet of the real world and the Education system which destroyed my former Belief system (the Belief that the Education System was the only way to success); I learned that the Education system creates obedient skilled workers and it is the CEOs/ CTOs/ Founders of corporations that employ them; CEOs that don’t necessarily have fancy University degrees and who may have self-educated themselves and had the courage and persistence to follow their Dreams to make the Corporations a reality, to be their own Boss. These CEOs recruit skilled workers to form corporations which become almost living entities as everyone who aligns themselves with the CEOs company’s mission statement become part of something greater than the individual worker. It is these entities called Corporations that create jobs and require money to keep the corporations functioning much like a living creature. These Corporations control the gold mining, the Media, paper money creation, the books we buy, the clothes we shop for, the mobile phone Apps we use, Netflix, McDonalds etc.

Yet Corporations can dissolve easily as much as they can be created simply by starving them of money. Strange that Corporations hold so much Power over the items we need, services used, our employment but when you deny them money, they disappear.

Examples of self-educated CEOs are like Richard Branson, Robert Kiyosaki, Andrew Carnegie, Patrick Bet-David.

When you move from one work sector to another or live in another country, you start to see how your original society affected your belief systems through social conditioning like how a human owner rewards/ punishes a dog to repeat/ desist a specific set of behaviours.
